I tend to agree. The only reason it’s like that is because the AI model that powers the voice performs much much better if it has even a bit of “context” of the language that it’s supposed to speak in. With single word pronounciation, there’s a strong bias towards english unfortunately.
As a compromise, I think that this slightly-annoying little “intro text” can fix those english biases quite nicely.
But I will consider if there’s anything that can be done to cut it out from the audio playback somehow else. Thanks for the suggestion

Maybe with some prompt adjustment for the flashcards section you can get one-shot Danish response.
Such as,
“This is a Danish pronunciation. Just say the word in Danish. Don’t start with 'the Danish word is…'”
